Rochdale Borough Active Awards 2026
The Rochdale Borough Active Awards recognise and celebrate the contributions and achievements to sport, physical activity and helping the local community to be active. There are 11 categories this year, including:

- Club / Group of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Community Sport Project of the Year
- Disability Physical Activity Champion
- Instructor of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- School Commitment to Physical and Mental Wellbeing
- Unsung Hero
- Volunteer of the Year
- Young Person Talent Recognition of the Year
Nominations are now open! The closing date is Wednesday 10th June
This years event will take place at Middleton Arena on Tuesday 3 November 2026.
Hopwood Hall College Community Fun Day
This free event promises to be non-stop fun for the whole family as we throw open our doors and welcome you to an exciting, activity-filled day at our Middleton Campus, Rochdale Road, Greater Manchester, M24 6XH
